Accessibility statement
Anyone handling a report at three in the morning must be able to do so with the keyboard, with a screen reader or with the screen magnified. Accessibility here is not a formality: it is a working condition.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA
The application and the site are designed to meet level A and AA criteria. “Partially conformant” because the exceptions declared below remain open; we are closing them by the dates indicated.
What works
- Every control is reachable and activatable from the keyboard, with Enter or Space.
- A three-pixel visible focus outline on every interactive element, never removed.
- A “Skip to main content” link as the first element of the page.
- Deadline counters announced to screen readers as a polite live region.
- Form fields with explicit labels and descriptive error messages.
- Minimum contrast of 4.5:1 on text and 3:1 on informative graphic elements.
- Respect for the system preference for reduced animations.
Known limitations
Many-column tables on narrow screens
The activity log and the plan comparison require horizontal scrolling below 600 pixels of usable width.
Fix planned by September 2026
QR code for two-step verification
A graphic placeholder is present; the key is nonetheless available in copyable text format, so the operation can be completed without seeing the code.
Alternative already available
Deadline bar chart
The information is also conveyed in text form next to the chart, but the visual representation is not navigable element by element.
Improvement planned by October 2026
Exported PDF documents
The defensive dossiers are generated from the document print: the heading structure is correct, the tabulation of data is not yet marked as an accessible table.
Fix planned by December 2026
Scope of the statement
The statement applies to the cranotify.eu site and to the subscription application, including the login screens, triage, preparation of communications and the activity log. It does not cover third-party content reached via external links, such as the single reporting platform or documents published by the authorities.
Regulatory references
The design follows WCAG 2.2 level AA and the harmonised standard EN 301 549. For the public part of the site we also consider the obligations of Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility of products and services, in view of their application to digital services offered to consumers.
Design choices that help work under pressure
Minimum text size of 12.5 pixels in labels and 15 pixels in content; no information conveyed by colour alone, always accompanied by a label or an icon; explicit confirmations for irreversible actions, with a summary of what is about to happen.
Approaching deadlines are communicated with text, colour and icon together, and replicated on the configured alert channels: those who cannot look at the screen still receive the information.
Alternatives available on request
For users who encounter a barrier not yet resolved we provide, at no additional cost: data export in a simple tabular format, telephone assistance to complete the operation, and manual generation of the defensive dossier by our team.
Maintaining conformance
Every significant release passes a keyboard and screen reader check before publication. A full review is scheduled every six months and this statement is updated with the date of the last check and the status of the declared limitations.
Report a barrier
Write to accessibilita@cranotify.eu indicating the page, the assistive technology used and what you cannot do. We reply within five business days with a solution or an alternative way to complete the operation. If the response does not satisfy you, you can turn to the authority responsible for accessibility.
Assessment method: self-assessment with manual review on keyboard and screen reader (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS), verification of ARIA markup and contrasts. Last full review: 20 July 2026.
